Covid 19 Guidelines - Inside Practice

Covid Guidelines - Inside Practice
It's great that baseball practices have started but I did want to take a quick moment to touch on the importance of us following safety guidelines and procedures as a follow up from my last email.

Here are the guidelines that we are putting forth at least for the time being:
  • All Player & Coaches temperatures will be taken upon arriving at GFIS and OHS Field house.  Temps of 100.4+ will not be allowed to practice that day.  We have some forehead thermometers at the dome and OHS. The thermometers are located inside the Orange first aid bag in the wagons.  On the days with multiple teams in their together, we will just assign a team that day responsible for checking temps, then rotate to another team the following week.
  • Masks should be worn all times including during practice
  • Parents should not be hanging out in the dome during the practice at least for the time being.
  • Parents are not allowed in OHS Field house during practice. Drop off only.
  • Make sure parents are using common sense about avoiding practice if player is sick or self-quarantine if they come in contact with a positive case.
  • Please make sure every parent has received the Student Screening Flowchart and understands it.
We don't need to cause hysteria with any of this.  This is simply a reminder as to how we as an organization can safely navigate through the
next several weeks without having to cancel baseball.  We'll be outside playing ball before we know.  Let's be smart about it.
