Lil’ Outlaws

The Lil’ Outlaws is a complete program designed for girls age 6-10.

Our Lil’ Outlaws will begin their season in February and March, with bi-weekly indoor skills clinics that emphasize the fundamentals: throwing, fielding, hitting, running and pitching. these clinics will be run by the Oswego Outlaws Travel Softball coaches and players who follow a development plan designed by Annie Scaramuzzi, the Head Varsity Softball Coach at Oswego High School, home of the 4 State Champion Oswego Panthers Softball Team.

Beginning in April, the Lil’ Outlaws will be evaluated and broken into evenly matched teams who will compete in a spring/summer Little League Softball Season playing games against each other. There will be an opportunity to form a Little League All Star team that competes in the district tournament.

In addition, other various camps and clinics will be offered through the season when possible, along with a pitching development plan for girls who show interest and commitment to pitching.

The program will conclude at the end of the spring/summer season, and in total will run from February-June.

Lil’ Outlaws is a fantastic opportunity for both girls who have played a season or two of rec- softball, and, girls who are brand new to the sport.

What Programs are offered?

Lil' Outlaws is designed for upcoming players, ages 6-10. The girls will all be playing together and teams will be distributed evenly by skill levels and age.

When are practices and games?

The Lil' Outlaws season will start with bi-weekly clinics in February and March (details still to come) at the Oswego Outlaws Travel Softball indoor facility or OBSA facilities. Clinics are run by Oswego Outlaws coaches and players.

At these clinics we will also have the opportunity for parents to shadow Coach! This league can't run without parent volunteer coaches and through these clinics, we can help coach you on how to provide the girls with the right instruction from the start.
Our goal is simple: teach the game the right way, early, while keeping the experience fun, positive, and confidence-building.

After the clinics we will evaluate players and build teams based on skill level and age.

Practices usually start in April. Games begin in May. The season will wrap up mid June with a championship game.

Teams typically play a 12 game season, with 1 game during the week and 1 on the weekend. (This is still in the planning stage and might change)
